Every bad boy cliche, all at once, except that it doesn’t work here- clashing patterns (stripes, plad, polka dots), foppishly overdone pocket square, sockless, did I miss any other cliche?

Sorry, but I have to agree. It looks random rather than simply mismatched. A lot of unnecessary “statement” items. Lose the pocket square, tie clip, lapel pin, plastic wrist accessory thing, and replace the shoes with some plain black boat shoes or oxfords. That way, you have just one “statement” item on: your glasses. As it is, you just look gaudy.
